The new single from Berlin four-piece TUYS is a dreamy track called ‘Muddy Beach’. It kicks off without wasting a second, letting distorted trumpets sing over funky accompaniments that persist throughout the track. The distant lead vocal melts perfectly into the trebly guitar chords that chop away amongst the harmonious, psychedelic texture. The slightly left-field music is complemented perfectly by the surrealist video, which shows a group of painted people who all look and act the same, dancing at a beach club. It’s a brilliant track filled with twists and turns that should inspire you to go back and check out their 2020 EP, A Curtain Call For Dreamers. -Dan Peeke
